We started in a limited area of distribution in Region 3 in 2007 and went into nationwide distribution after one year of operation. A Clientele grew from 2 pharmaceutical companies to almost all major pharmaceutical companies specializing in the sale of oncology products such as Fresenius Kabi, Roche Philippines, Sanofi Aventis, Unilab-Bio Oncology, Goodfellow Pharma, Novartis, Ambica, etc. to name a few. We hired competent, energetic and professional staff to assure the delivery of excellent service to all our clients. We standardized our manual of operating procedures to ensure that each and every employee and staff thoroughly comprehends their respective positions and responsibilities.

In 2002, GapanDrug Pharmacy was founded at the DRJ Cancer Clinic, marking the beginning of its commitment to high-quality pharmaceutical care. Initially focused on serving a local clientele, this first step set the foundation for what would soon become a major player in the distribution of pharmaceuticals in the Philippines.

By 2005, GapanDrug expanded its operations to cover the entirety of Region 3, establishing itself as a regional distributor. This strategic move enabled the pharmacy to reach more customers and laid the groundwork for further growth.

In 2006, after just four years, GapanDrug achieved nationwide distribution, becoming accessible to customers across the Philippines. This milestone was a testament to the company’s dedication to broadening its reach and meeting the growing demand for reliable pharmaceutical products throughout the country.

Continuing its ambitious expansion, in 2008 GapanDrug completed a 20-million-peso building, housing a state-of-the-art walk-in modular facility that met FDA bio-ref requirements. This development not only enhanced GapanDrug’s operational capacity but also showcased its commitment to compliance and quality standards in pharmaceutical storage and distribution.

2015 Milestone

The year 2015 marked another transformative phase for GapanDrug with the acquisition of a three-story building in Cebu. This facility featured a sophisticated cold chain system, ensuring that temperature-sensitive products could be stored and delivered efficiently. In addition to launching same-day delivery services in Cebu, GapanDrug also expanded its footprint in Davao, establishing a presence that bolstered its influence across both Luzon and Visayas-Mindanao regions.

2017 Milestone

By 2017, GapanDrug had broadened its reach with a new warehouse and several branch openings. This extensive expansion introduced GapanDrug pharmacies in multiple strategic locations, including Del Corro in Gapan City, San Leonardo in Nueva Ecija, and prominent sites in Stateside and Premiere in Cabanatuan City. Additional branches opened in Angeles, Pampanga; Quezon City; Cebu; Davao; and Malolos, allowing GapanDrug to serve even more communities. This year also marked the establishment of GapanDrug’s first hospital-based pharmacy, the GD OPD Pharmacy, located at ASCCOM in Apalit, Pampanga. This initiative underscored GapanDrug’s ongoing dedication to healthcare, providing patients with convenient access to quality pharmaceutical services within the hospital environment.
